Christian and I love a good board game. There is nothing like cozying up in the winter months (especially) with a cocktail, take out, and ideally by a fire. But the truth is, backgammon is a game that can be played anywhere and beachside is equally as thrilling as fireside. I learned backgammon years ago and recently have had an itch to learn it again because it is the perfect two-person game and it can be played almost anywhere. For Christmas, we received a new backgammon board made out of Italian olive tree wood - a nod to our upcoming Tuscan wedding - and have since fallen back in love with the game.
